The Guthrie Journal  is an open access, peer-reviewed medical journal. The journal does not charge fees for submission or publication and makes the full text of published articles available online free of charge.

The Guthrie Journal is published on a continuous basis, with articles assigned to a volume and issue as they are published. Each new volume begins January 1, with two issues per volume.

Scope

The Guthrie Journal routinely publishes original research, scoping and systematic reviews, reports on quality improvement projects, and case reports. Articles may be clinical, biomedical, epidemiological, or address issues related to medical education. Submissions from medical students, residents, fellows, faculty, researchers, and practitioners at all career stages and in all specialties are welcome.

The journal may occasionally publish other solicited or unsolicited content, including editorials, letters, abstracts, and reprints.
